Gift Stash is local-first. People, gift ideas, notes, and photos are stored only in this browser (IndexedDB for image blobs, localStorage for lists and settings). Nothing is uploaded to our servers for accounts or backup.

There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no server-side stash of your contacts or screenshots.

Birthday reminders use the browser Notification API on this device only. Permission is optional. If you deny it, the app still shows an on-screen banner of upcoming occasions. Reminder checks run when you open the app — there is no push server.

Advertising: Google AdSense may be active on this site. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve personalized or non-personalized ads and to measure performance. See Google’s advertising policies and your browser or Google account settings to manage ad cookies.

You can export or delete everything in the app, or clear site data in your browser settings.
